<촛불발전기와 전자첼로>는 인스탈레이션과 라이브 퍼포먼스가 합쳐진 작품이다. 촛불발전기는 말그대로 촛불의 작은 열기로부터 전기를 생산하고 그 전기는 공연에 필요한 앰프와 스피커 그리고 전자첼로를 작동시키는 에너지 소스가 된다. 전자첼로는 첼리스트 이금희가 연주했으며, 곡은 Peteris Vasks의 ‘Gramata cellam’과 즉흥곡으로 구성되었다.

Candle Generator and Electric Cello’ is a live performance merged with installation artwork. In the studio, the candle generators literally generate electricity from a small candle flame, powering both the electric cello and its speaker for a concert. The cello is performed by cellist Kumhee Lee, and the piece being performed is ‘Gramata cellam,’ composed by Peteris Vasks.
